Puy du Fou’s planning application has been submitted to Cherwell District Council for consideration. The public has an important role in the planning process, and the council has asked the public to register their views on the application.

Demonstrating public support for the project will make a real difference to the decision.

I am writing to register my support for the proposed Puy du Fou tourism development on land north and east of Manor Farm – application 25/02232/OUT.

This development will create a unique, world-class, award-winning visitor attraction unlike anything else in the UK.

It will create much-needed jobs across a range of skillsets, as well as supporting local employers through the supply chain.

It will boost the local economy by up to £500m per year once it is fully built.

It will add to Oxfordshire's tourist offer, encouraging longer stays and benefiting local hotels, restaurants, and shops.

It will provide vocational training and apprenticeship opportunities, encouraging young people to stay in Cherwell to start a career.

The park will plant thousands of new trees along with acres of new forest and species-rich meadows, creating wildlife habitats.

Puy du Fou will provide an innovative way to learn about British history - perfect for schools and families.
