Local investment

A £600m investment into the local economy over 10 years.

More visitor spend in Bicester and Oxfordshire

50,000 overnight stays in the area expected during the first year of opening, with up to 400,000 overnight stays by Year 10 – benefitting the existing local and regional tourism offer.

Economic boost for the local area

Our experience in France and Spain shows that for every £1 spent in Puy du Fou, £3.20 will be spent in the local area outside our park – reaching £500m a year by Year 10. We always prioritise local suppliers and form long-term partnerships with local farmers to provide the food sold in our restaurants.

New jobs created

There will be 700 people employed at Puy du Fou UK at opening, and as many as 2,000 new secondary indirect jobs created at hotels, suppliers and other local businesses. These numbers are projected to triple within ten years of the park opening.

We have over 300 different types of jobs in our parks. Typically, only around a third are hospitality jobs, with almost 50% being artistic roles and the remainder spanning management, HR, finance, marketing and technical support. We offer a broad mix of full time, part time and seasonal roles.

Training opportunities and apprenticeships

We will provide vocational training and apprenticeship opportunities to help people switch or start new careers with Puy du Fou. We will partner with local colleges and universities to attract young people and graduates, as well as offering a range of job opportunities for older workers.

Conference centre

We will be operating a new purpose designed, state of the art conference centre onsite adjacent to one of our hotels to host corporate events, seminars and conferences. This will be the only element of the park that will operate year round, other than management, maintenance and animal welfare.
